Many people have different strategies for what they do when travelling with Coeliac Disease. Here are my top 3 tips:
1. Stay at a place where you can prepare food or at least some food. My partner and I like to stay at places that have a full kitchen or at least kitchenette so we can prepare our meals. This means I don’t have to worry about being ‘glutened’ while on my holiday.

2. Do your research prior to leaving for you trip. You can use Facebook Groups such as ‘Coeliac Disease in Australia’. They will have files saved for different places that recommend where is safe to eat. You can also post on the wall and people can reply that way.
3. Take food with you. This will mean you have options available if your plans fall through and you don’t have easy access to food. A lot of holidays places will also increase their prices so packing food will save money as well.
